As part of the Internationalization Strategy toward 2030 of the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) aimed at attracting international students and global talents, the UEH Institute of Innovation (UII) is officially launching the International Internship Program for 2026. Implemented annually since 2022, the program serves as a solid bridge fostering international collaboration, offering students hands-on working opportunities and deeper insights into Vietnam’s startup ecosystem. 📌 Position Details
- Position: Startup Programs & Community Intern (Full-time).
- Duration: 03 months, from September to November 2026.
- Working Mode: On-site internship at UEH Campus B, 279 Nguyen Tri Phuong, Dien Hong Ward, HCMC.
🎯 Who Are We Looking For?
To create practical value in a fast-paced environment, we are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Background: International undergraduate or Master’s students from partner universities with a keen interest in innovation, entrepreneurship, technology, and the startup ecosystem.
- Communication & Professional Skills: Professional proficiency in English (both spoken and written).
- Content & Design Skills: Strong content writing abilities and basic design skills using Canva or AI tools.
- Management & Organizational Skills: Strong organizational capabilities, carefulness, and keen attention to detail to ensure the smooth operation of programs.
- Mindset: A “can-do” attitude, proactive in taking on tasks, and the ability to learn quickly to adapt to an ever-innovating working environment.
🌟 Comprehensive Benefits and Support at UII
The Institute of Innovation aims to create a dynamic and internationally integrated learning environment. By becoming an International Intern at UII, you will receive a comprehensive support package, including:
- Monthly Financial Support: Interns will receive a monthly allowance of $200/person/month. This allowance is co-funded by UEH’s international student support policy and UII’s incubation operation budget.
- Accommodation Support: You will be provided with free accommodation at the university’s dormitory throughout your internship. (Note: Personal expenses such as meals and transportation will be self-funded).
- Academic Exchange Privilege: Interns are supported to participate in an academic exchange by taking 01 English-taught module. You can choose a module from the Technology and Innovation or Financial Technology academic programs managed by the Institute of Innovation.
- In-depth Experience and Networking: You will have the opportunity to participate, connect, and collaborate with students in various innovation activities at UEH and within the region. This is an excellent opportunity to experience a practical working environment at a university in Vietnam while directly contributing to the development of the student startup ecosystem.
