ECOWARRIORS: UEH Students Secure First Prize at Bach Khoa Innovation 2025 with AI-Powered Educational App<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

After more than four months of intensive rounds, the Grand Finale of BKI 2025 took place on August 9, 2025, at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (VNU-HCM). The final stage gathered 50 elite teams across four competitive categories: Students, High School Students, Startups, and the University-Industry (U-I) Partnership category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Competing in the Student Category, ECOWARRIORS is a physical-digital hybrid game that enables children to learn through play, movement, and interaction across both physical and virtual environments. This project exemplifies the spirit of innovation by integrating modern pedagogy with interactive technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other notable winners included a smart study furniture system from Nam Sai Gon High School (High School Category) and a high-precision hand rehabilitation platform for post-stroke patients from the HCMC University of Technology ( Startup Category).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ECOWARRIORS – A Multi-Intelligence Educational Application for Preschool and Primary Students by UEH University Students – Awarded First Prize.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 8th season of Bach Khoa Innovation recorded its highest participation to date with 189 registered projects – nearly triple the average of previous years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Tran Vu, Vice President of HCMC University of Technology, noted that BKI 2025 marked a significant international milestone. The competition attracted global engagement from corporations, universities, and international startup communities, featuring 18 teams from countries such as India, Indonesia, Russia, the UK, France, Japan, and the USA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among these, three international teams from Hong Kong, India, and Indonesia reached the Grand Finale in the Startup Category, traveling to Vietnam to compete directly with the local entrepreneurship community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BKI 2025 featured promising representatives from leading high schools and universities nationwide.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to international participants, the competition saw strong representation from prestigious institutions such as UEH University, VNU-HCM, and various specialized high schools. Furthermore, to bridge the gap between academic theory and practical business operations, BKI 2025 introduced the University-Industry (U-I) category. In this track, corporate partners such as Malaya Glass Vietnam (O-IBJC) and Indefol Solar presented real-world challenges – ranging from glass recycling solutions to green hydrogen production – tasking teams to propose viable technical solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The success of ECOWARRIORS further solidifies UEH’s commitment to fostering a generation of students capable of spearheading innovation and entrepreneurship to solve global challenges through technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
