UEH Institute of Innovation (UII) is a research and training institute under the College  of Technology and Design, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH). Officially launched in 2019, UII was established through the collaboration between UEH and Singapore Management University, with the support of the Private Economic Development Research Board of the Government. As one of the leading centers in the field of innovation, UII brings together a distinguished team of professors, experts, and advisors.

Our Institution is dedicated to academic training and scientific research in technology and innovation, while also serving as an incubator for startup projects. It plays an important role in fostering an entrepreneurship mindset among students and young professionals. In addition, UII provides consulting services and facilitates science–technology collaborations, thereby promoting innovation activities and transforming research outcomes into practical applications.

Throughout its development journey, UII has achieved remarkable milestones driven by continuous improvements in education, scientific research, and breakthroughs in startup incubation. UII is recognized as a pioneer in launching bachelor-level programs in Technology and Innovation, as well as in Financial Technology (FinTech), addressing the growing demand for high-quality human resources in the national innovation ecosystem. Its incubation activities have contributed to building a dynamic ecosystem that empowers early-stage startups to scale and grow sustainably.

Looking ahead to 2030, the UEH Institute of Innovation aims to become a Regional Innovation Hub, driving a dynamic innovation ecosystem through comprehensive training and research programs, supporting the entrepreneurship journey from idea to successful project, and fostering strong connections among universities, businesses, and government. UII continues to deliver technology-driven solutions to address economic challenges and contribute to sustainable development.
