[RECAP] INVESTMENT FUNDRAISING SIMULATION ENTREPRENEURSHIP COURSE PROJECT
Where the next generation of UII entrepreneurs transforms academic knowledge into ventures with real-world potential.
On December 13, 2025, students of the Technology and Innovation major, cohort K49, completed the Entrepreneurship course through a Demo Day organized as a simulation of a real startup environment, featuring project presentations before a group of simulated investors.
Designed to connect academic learning with practical experience, the course not only provided students with a foundation in entrepreneurial mindset, business models, and innovation, but also created opportunities for them to directly develop, test, and present their own projects. Through pitching sessions, critical feedback, and open voting, students were comprehensively trained in the core competencies required of entrepreneurs in real-world settings.
In addition to presenting their ideas, students who assumed the role of simulated investors also gained more practical insights into how startups are assessed, including the evaluation of key metrics associated with innovative business models and the broader financial picture of a startup venture.
The Demo Day and Pitching session marked an important academic milestone, reaffirming the Learning by Doing spirit embedded in UII’s educational approach, where students gradually transform classroom knowledge into ideas and projects with meaningful real-world application.
