RECAP: UEH BIZTECH HACKATHON 2025 - 28 HOURS OF DEVELOPING PRACTICAL TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS
On August 2, 2025, the UEH BizTech Hackathon 2025 (UBH 2025), an annual initiative organized by the UEH Institute of Innovation, officially concluded after 28 consecutive hours of competition. The event attracted a large number of student participants and provided an academic environment that combined theory with practice, where technology-driven ideas were developed to address real-world challenges, particularly those related to Vietnamese cultural advancement.
This year’s competition recorded several notable outcomes:
A total of 323 students registered for the preliminary round, demonstrating the strong appeal of the program among students interested in technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

150 selected participants were organized into 32 teams for the 28-hour Hackathon. This phase required intense focus, collaborative teamwork, and continuous creative thinking.

32 technology projects were developed, each offering high applicability and aiming to promote Vietnamese cultural values through digital solutions.
13 mentors provided one-on-one guidance to the teams, offering technical expertise and strategic direction throughout the product development process.
Over 100 in-depth mentoring sessions were conducted by experts, helping teams refine their solutions, improve their strategies, and prepare for final presentations.
More than 20 multidisciplinary experts contributed to the program, covering fields such as technology, business, design, and innovation, thereby creating a dynamic learning and networking environment. 12 strategic partners supported the event, playing a vital role in providing resources, professional guidance, and amplifying the program’s impact.


UBH 2025 concluded not only with impressive metrics, but also with meaningful startup stories, professional connections, and emerging ideas. The organizing committee believes that the most promising projects will continue to grow and generate positive impacts on society and Vietnamese culture.
