The UII – Institute of Innovation recently hosted the third session of the UII SIP & SHARE 2025 series, focusing on Market Sizing—a critical component for startups in defining their target market, developing growth strategies, and convincing investors.
During the session, Mr. Nguyễn Đăng Trung – Founder of TAGEDU shared practical experiences on how to present market size flexibly, particularly for products that have not yet reached large-scale commercialization. His “hands-on” insights provided startups with valuable guidance on how to demonstrate market understanding and potential to investors during the fundraising process.
From the investor’s perspective, Mr. Atlan Nguyễn – Investment Associate at Earth Venture Capital, analyzed the factors that investors truly care about when evaluating market size, highlighting common mistakes startups often make. He also offered recommendations to help founders prepare more effectively for pitching and market expansion.
By fostering an open and engaging exchange, UII SIP & SHARE #3 reaffirmed its role as a bridge connecting the startup community with experienced entrepreneurs, investors, and innovation experts. Beyond delivering practical knowledge, the program contributes to strengthening the foundations of entrepreneurship, innovation, and fintech-driven growth, supporting startups on their journey toward sustainable development.
