Sandbox Incubation Program is a 10-week incubation program designed for students to accelerate and transform their breakthrough ideas into viable businesses.
UII Sandbox Program helps students' ideas really take off, with 3 key activities:
Expert Sessions
are a combination of events for students to connect and engage with others and industry experts. Expert sessions are delivered through Essential Training Program and Milestone presentations.
Growth Sessions are to help
Review progress and development plans for students.
Identify problems on time and assist in finding solutions.
Ensure commitment of students teams/individuals on aligned incubation goals.
Open Office Hours
Office hours provide students with in-depth consultations from trainers/mentors to tackle specific challenges.
Open Office hours are available from week 1-10. Each team has 6 hours in total.
Meetings will be conducted online/hybrid every Tuesday (10am -11am) with available mentors/ trainers
Expected Outcomes
Personal Growth
Equipped with knowledge and standard skills in innovation and entrepreneurship
Acknowledge the development of essential personality traits, skills, and attitudes required for an entrepreneur.
Developing teamwork spirit and essential skills when working in a team in an innovative start-up environment.
Idea/Startup Project
Specify needs & pains, problem-solution fit, product / service offering.
Identify specific groups of potential customers and potential markets.
Validate important problems related to problem-solution fit.
Have a clear development plan and roadmap.
Have a proof of concept and/or minimum viable product (MVP).
Be ready for the next stages of development.
