Appointment Ceremony for New Personnel at the UEH Institute of Innovation

On the morning of July 31, 2020, at UEH Campus A, 59C Nguyễn Đình Chiểu, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) held a ceremony to announce new personnel appointments for the UEH Institute of Innovation.

The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Đông Phong – UEH President, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Thị Bích Nguyệt – Chairwoman of the Advisory Council and Director of the Institute of Innovation, Dr. Bùi Quang Hùng – Head of Human Resources, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bùi Thanh Tráng – Head of the Faculty of International Business and Marketing, along with representatives from the Human Resources Office, International Business and Marketing Department, and other faculty leaders.

On behalf of the Party Committee and the UEH leadership, Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Đông Phong presented the official appointment decision. Mr. Huỳnh Phước Nghĩa, Deputy Head of the International Business and Marketing Department, was appointed as Vice Director of the UEH Institute of Innovation, for the term 2016–2021, effective from August 1, 2020. Prof. Phong also expressed sincere gratitude to Dr. Bùi Quang Hùng, the former Vice Director of the Institute of Innovation, for his significant contributions since the institute’s founding over a year ago.

This appointment is a crucial step for the Institute of Innovation and UEH, reaffirming its leading position in fulfilling the mission of innovation and entrepreneurship.
