LIVE WEBINAR: “Decode” Technology Management and Innovation
To provide high-quality human resources capable of meeting the demands of the new technology wave, UEH launched the Technology Management and Innovation program in 2021. This is the first bachelor's program in Vietnam that trains students in technology management, with a focus on emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, AR/VR, and fosters creative thinking. The program is developed and organized by the UEH Institute of Innovation (UII). To help new students better understand this exciting field from the perspective of experts and business leaders, UII hosted a live webinar: “Decode” Technology Management and Innovation.
The event featured notable speakers such as Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Thị Bích Nguyệt – Chairwoman of UEH Advisory Council and Director of UII, Mr. Huỳnh Phước Nghĩa – Deputy Director of UII, and Ms. Nguyễn Thị Phương Thảo – Executive Director of UII. The guest panel included Mr. Nguyễn Tuấn Minh (Director of Data and Analytics, One Mount Group), Ms. Nguyễn Thị Minh Giang (Managing Director of Talent and Corporate Culture, Mekong Capital), and Ms. Lê Thị Kim Cư (Former Executive Director of Dentsu Vietnam). Nearly 150 UEH freshmen, parents, and recruitment firms interested in technology and innovation participated in the online seminar and followed the live stream on UII’s and the Technology Management and Innovation program's fan pages.

Mr. Nguyễn Tuấn Minh, Director of Data and Analytics at One Mount Group, emphasized that technology consistently supports businesses, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. He highlighted how technology enables rapid adaptation to new operational models and opportunities. He stressed that economics students with an understanding of technology hold a competitive advantage, allowing them to quickly develop new business models incorporating advanced technology. However, to achieve this, students must engage in dedicated learning, understand programming, and gain a solid foundation in technology.
