The "2020 Commercialization Skills for Science and Technology Products" training course consists of six key modules designed to explore the potential of science and technology products. It aims to help scientists, researchers, and experts develop skills to attract resources and implement commercialization strategies for their research or technological products.

The course offers four intakes, starting from September 25, 2020, to October 18, 2020, and is still open for enrollment. Those interested—whether educators, specialists, or staff from universities, or departments—are invited to register here.

Ms. Đỗ Thị Hải Ninh, Director of Training and International Cooperation at the Institute of Innovation, said during the opening session of the first intake, held from September 25 to 27, 2020, “The Fourth Industrial Revolution has accelerated technology development globally. Commercializing science and technology products is inevitable as these sectors grow rapidly. Vietnam’s fast economic growth creates a strong foundation for the development of scientific and technological products, with many patents being granted. Therefore, commercialization skills are essential for workforce development in science and technology markets. This course, supported by the Ministry of Science and Technology and University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), provides critical skills for professionals in these fields.”

During the first session, Mr. Trần Giang Khuê, Deputy Head of the Southern Office of the Intellectual Property Office of Vietnam, shared insights on the "Commercialization Process for Science and Technology Products."

In the second session, Dr. Đào Minh Đức, Director of the Minh Đức Institute of Intellectual Property Management, discussed the competitive advantages of product exclusivity and techniques for analyzing those advantages.

The third session, led by Ms. Phạm Thanh Thúy Vy, Lecturer at UEH’s International Business Department, covered "Developing and Selecting Business Opportunities for Commercializing Technology."

The final sessions of the first intake focused on two critical topics: "Attracting resources for implementing commercialization solutions," and "Negotiation skills for science and technology transfer," both led by Ms. Lê Anh Huyền Trâm.

Upon completing the course, participants received certificates from the Institute of Innovation.

The course offers four intake periods from September 25, 2020, to October 18, 2020, and registration is still open. Educators, researchers, and officials interested in joining can register via the provided link.
